The idea was to design a table with a simple central base by adding an unexpected touch. By deforming the apothem of the truncated cone into two concave and convex lines always tangent to the vertical, I obtained that the base continuously changes shape as the point of view changes.
This structure is obtained with a casting of lightened concrete into which tie rods are embedded for fixing the wooden top finished with soft touch paint.
